App Review: RunKeeper

Here is a screenshot of the GPS/workout page of the app.
Recently I have been getting more into health and fitness and one app that has been helping me a lot is RunKeeper.  I generally use it when I run or walk with my dog/friends, but there are plenty of forms of exercise that can be tracked and documented with this app.  You can track running, walking, biking, yoga, and a ton of other exercises from their workout list.  This app counts calories burned, miles traveled, altitude, rate at which you are traveling, and much more.
In addition to that, the app comes with free workout plans that tell you which workouts to do on which day to reach a certain goal.  For example, if you want to run a 5k, the app tells you exactly what workouts will help train for that.
Another aspect of the app is the friends feature.  You can add your friends that also have the app and see what workouts they've been doing and comment encouragements on their page.  One of my friends has this app as well and we like to compare workout routes and distances with each other, which has been fun.
One thing about this app that some people may feel uncomfortable with/have technical difficulties with is that the app uses GPS to track your workouts.  I've never had any issues with this aspect of the app, but I thought I'd put that out there:)
RunKeeper is available on both iPhone and Android, and I would highly recommend it for someone who does or would like to start doing workouts.
Please leave any questions about RunKeeper in the comments and I would be happy to answer them!  Happy running :)

Under "me" the stats of workouts are listed.
